Who we are
Youth Ballet Scotland is a vibrant and inclusive youth ballet company based in Scotland. Founded to provide aspiring young dancers with pre-professional training and performance opportunities, we are committed to nurturing talent, creativity, and confidence through the art of classical ballet and contemporary dance.
We offer Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus training, giving our dancers a strong technical foundation and the opportunity to achieve internationally recognised qualifications. In addition to training, our dancers take part in full-scale classical productions, creative showcases, and workshops with leading industry professionals—recent guests include Scottish Ballet principal Bethany Kingsley-Garner.
With a focus on safe practice and the holistic development of young dancers, we aim to nurture confidence, resilience, and a lifelong love of dance. Every dancer receives the encouragement, praise, and individual attention they need to thrive both in and out of the studio.
